Adden's blessing!

You probably all know that over Thanksgiving break Matthew and Carrie decided to bless Adden in Paso so all the family could be involved! Here's the happy little family after the blessing...Adden appears to be confused by the duck song Aunt Tara was singing to keep his attention focused on the camera.
Here are all the men who participated: Joseph Hogeland (Matthew's BFF from growing up), Uncle Joe Griffith, Great Grandpa Dean Griffith, Matthew "the Dad" Griffith, holding Adden Dean Griffith, Grandpa Larry Griffith, Michael Dean Griffith, and Josh Parker.

Here are the adorable 2nd cousins together on Adden's blessing day. Adden, Adrian, and Danny!

Fun times at BYU!

My life! So, have you been wondering what I have been doing in Happy Valley? Well, I have been running around like a mad woman, and having some fun times as well. I am sorry that this blog is so long, i'm new to this whole blogging thing, so I just put my whole life on here! Sorry too that the pictures are totally not in order, but even though I am in "College" I can't use a computer and couldn't figure out how to switch the order around!

Hillary came to visit! During Conference Weekend the Richards came to visit, and I spent a couple of days in American Fork with them at Grandma Richards. It was so fun!

This was at my Mission Reunion conference weekend! President Ashby and his wife (my mission president) just got home and this is the first time I have been able to see them! Here's a picture of me with them.
Me and my baby! Here's my trainee Sora Rosenvall, Bailee. Moving into my apartment! Here's a picture of all my junk on my bed!

My apartment was decorated so cute when I moved in because my roommates are so cute and decorated our apartment like a home. I love it! Here's my living room!

Here's my Roommate night!! We decided to do some bonding and go to dinner together! Tori, me, Kat, Lindsay, Jacqui, and Angie. Aren't we so GOOD LOOKING?
Dinner with the Trujillos! I went for the weekend to Angie's house and her dad made a "milk jug dinner" basically just threw a bunch of seafood (crab, shrimp, clams, etc) into a large milk jug, cooked it over a fire, and then when it was done they poured it into this trough in the middle of the table and we all ate from it. It was a little disturbing...good thing I had eaten lots scarier things in Romania...

At Anali and Jordan's Weddin! Our two friends from the mission, "Sora Rappleye" and "Elder Haddock" are now Sora and Brother Haddock. They were sealed on October 10th and we went to their sealing. These are some of my best mission friends: Jessica Netteshiem, Maureen Davison, me, and Angie Trujillo. So much fun!

Griffith Family Reunion 2008!

Family Reunion was wonderful! It was so nice to all be together to spite the sickness that rampaged through almost the entire family. We have an amazing family and to spite the fact that we don't get to see as much of each other as we would like I'm so grateful for the bond of love and friendship we all share. Here's some of my favorite pics:

Tara, Christina, Aaron, Brianna, Callie. We love our cousin, even if he thinks we're a tiny bit scary!

Brianna, Aunt Laurie, Aunt Debbie, and Tara--Two generations of sisters.

One of many water fights! L to R: Tara, Matthew, Nathan, Brianna, Christina, Clayton, Callie, Issac,Tiana, Sean

At Issac and Aarons baptism all the girl cousins. Addy, Tara,Callie, Christina, Tiana, Brianna

On the Fourth of July At Barney Schwartz park the family was ready for the fireworks.

Tara, Brianna, Ross and Christina's Top 10 most memorable moments of family reunion 2008!

(these are listed in random Order)
1. Discovering Nebraskan humor (Rubberneck and Licker?....Something about an alien?….)
2. “the Circle of Sick” starting with Sean barfing out a car door and ending over a week later with Tara barfing out a car door.
3. Finally being able to tell Aaron and Isaac apart…at least for some of us.
4. The baptisms of Aaron and Isaac and the Ordination of Nathan.
5. Uncle Joe needing to be weighed at the water slide park to make sure he was under the 280 weight limit…while Larry was not…ouch.
6. Water Fights
7. Grandpa calling Christina a “smart ass”
8. Re-enacting old family memories at the talent show.
9. Playing “do you love your neighbor” and to spite the fact that we tried to body slam gently we broke like 5 plastic chairs.
10. Grandma Dona passing on her cowboy cookie making knowledge to her granddaughters.

Brendan Toliver Family Update

We are enjoying live in beautiful Sandy, OR. A few weeks ago we were hammered with almost a foot of snow but now the weather has been clearing and warming up. I've attached a picture of Hobbes enjoying his first snow. I don't think he knew what to make of it.

Brendan has been accepted to Oregon State University and University of Oregon. Both schools start at the end of March so he is quickly trying to decide which college to attend. We are excited for the move.

Hobbes is now 8 months old and is crawling all over. He especially enjoys standing up and bouncing up and down. He's becoming more vocal and likes to be heard. Brendan and I teach a primary class and during singing time he likes to make noise and participate with the rest of the children as they sing.
